The problem we saw

Our founders grew up around trade businesses. A father who ran an HVAC company. An uncle who did plumbing. Both brilliant at their craft. Both spending their evenings chasing invoices, writing quotes on notepads, and losing sleep over whether a licence had lapsed.

They were running two businesses: the trade and the admin. Only one of them paid well. The software available was either built for large enterprises or so complicated it created more problems than it solved.
