How we collect, use and protect your data.

crafthax ("we", "our" or "us") is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account: your name, email address, company name, phone number and payment information. We also collect information about how you use crafthax, including jobs created, invoices sent and features accessed.
When you use our AI photo quoting feature, photos you upload are processed to generate quotes and are not stored permanently after processing is complete.
We use your information to provide, maintain and improve crafthax. This includes processing payments, sending invoice reminders on your behalf, delivering compliance alerts and generating AI-powered estimates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data. For stablecoin payments, Bani processes the transaction and their privacy policy applies.
We share data with service providers that help us operate crafthax, including cloud hosting (AWS), email delivery (Postmark), SMS (Twilio) and error monitoring (Sentry). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can do this from your account settings or by emailing privacy@crafthax.com. You also have the right to export your data in a portable format.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, regular security audits and strict access controls. No system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of crafthax after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
